“Pomegranate” is a story that’s been on my mind for a long time. Born out of a love for Greek mythology and a desire to recast it in a science fiction setting, “Pomegranate” is the tale of how Persephone (Sef) and Dee (Hades) met.
I finally got pencil and paper to meet at an 18 Hour Comic event at Ballard’s Push/Pull Comix and Art Gallery. While I didn’t quite make the goal to start and finish a comic in 18 hours, I did manage to pencil all the pages and ink about six of them before I had to tap out.
This is the finished project, and also my first multi-page narrative story. I’m happy to say that I learned a lot in the process, and I’m eager to begin another one.
