Why do I see a high price for some products, but I haven't selected anything yet?:  Make sure all drop down menus are set t0 "Select a QTY" or "No Thanks", making them a $0.00 selection. Now you should see the proper price and be able to start fresh from there.

What do all the business card options mean, how do I order?: Our "Help" page has a great illustration for this, and detailed help.

• Look first at your DESIGN option. Click the drop down, select if you want us to design it, or if you want to upload some art.
  
• Look at PRINT OPTIONS, decide if you want 4/0 (No color on the back color on front) or 4/4 (full color both sides) or 4/1 (black and white on the back).
• Look at QTY and choose from the drop down menu how many items you want - make sure the right number, like "500 (+$70)" shows in the QTY window.
• Look at our option PERFORATIONS - if you are buying 500 cards, and you want Perforations, then select "Perforations - 200 - 1000 Items ($35)". This charges you the correct amount for the quantity your buying. If you bought 5000 cards - and you want rounded corners, then select "Rounded Corners QTY - 5000 Items ($50)" and tell us in the message box which corners you want rounded and how many...i.e. " I want 3 round corners, the bottom 2, and the left top." If you don't want any options, set all options to "None Thanks" and "Select a matching QTY". That should create all $0.00 options, and you'll just be purchasing the simple card.

Can I break up my minimum order QTY and have different designs on half? Or have some folded and some scored?:  No. All minimum QTYs are set for one design, and one set of options (as many options as you'd like however) A minimum order QTY cannot be broken up, and similarly, a single order cannot be broken up into different options due to the price breaks we give our products.

If prices are so low, doesn't it mean the quality is substandard?

No, it means you've been paying too much for too long. From our flash drive manufacturers and technology, to our printing processes and materials - our company brings you, the consumer, high quality products and services without the ridiculous price tag. We opt to make money with repeat business, not by marking up prices needlessly.

I probably cannot afford a professional designer.

Not a question, but it is a very relevant statement to include here. Many of our products include free design time. Some other products offer design services that are standard across our store - all fees are the same, no hidden charges at checkout, we lay everything out for you so there will be no surprises. Those fees are very affordable, and we will always work with you on a case by case basis. Call us. 866-51MYWEB. We would love to hear from you and go over what your needs are.

How much do your design services cost? Start to finish?

The first hour will cost $50. Subsequent hours are billed at $35.00 per hour. When you are ordering your items, you will see an option to purchase design work, and we will bill the first design hour at this time. When your project is complete you will receive your final bill for design services, minus the $50 you paid initially. When we call to speak with you in the initial project interview, you may at this time request a budget amount for design services that we will stay within. This way, there will be no surprises. If at any time, we feel the project requires more design time, we will notify you immediately and discuss this, it would, however, be the exception rather than the rule.
You may also simply stick with an hour of design time, which will render a complete design. This will not include a design of complexity, but it will be an original, relevant, and beautiful design for your project. Sending us photos, rough sketches and ideas with your design order will help us in creating exactly what you desire. This will also greatly reduce the amount of "brainstorming" we need to do with projects, and make the most of your design hour. This is recommended. Call us today to clarify any details. We want you to feel 100% confident in this important decision. That said, we absolutely work to your deadline. If you need it fast, we will twist like pretzels to make it happen. (But please be gentle, with the deadline policy...give us at least 24 hours :))

We have a company designer/printer for our project. Can we still use only your printing/designing services? Absolutely. Just order the product and specify "I have my own designer" from the "Design" menu on  the Product page.  Only need design work? Call us at 866-51MYWEB. The design prices are the same, and there are still no hidden fees.

Why don't I see a whole lot of designs in this store??

Quite simply, our clients, to date, wish for their designs not to be used by anyone else, or to be exclusive. To insure this, we keep them off the site entirely. We promise all clients, regardless of size or price, the best original design for their money, and that the design will be unique and found no where else. We promise you that also. If you choose  design services from us, we are at your disposal.  We do have a designer who will be opening up a design area for those who wish to purchase designs from the site directly. Those designs will be available to all. That option will be available soon, so check back often.

I need something rather quickly. Is this possible?

All products have a certain lead time for production, and this lead time can be shortened to meet your deadline. Email us at urgent@darksunstudio.com, and we will work to push your order through and get it shipped in the shortest time possible. The shipping rate will be more for a rush order, depending on your specifications of Next Day or 2nd Day - however you will only be charged what we pay for shipping, as with all of our shipping services, we only charge what we pay, and make no money off of shipping ANY of our items. :)

How much will it cost to ship to my state? To my country?

Shipping within the continental US for some items is FREE ground shipping, and very low for other methods such as 3 Day Select, and 2nd Day Air. For example, all ground shipping on business cards is free anywhere in the continental US. Alaska, Hawaii, and International shipping must be handled by phone, so place your order and specify your country in the "Enter Message" area, we'll contact you with up-to-date, cost effective shipping charges. In cases where ground shipping is not free, we do absorb some shipping cost to ease the cost to you. For this reason all shipping is created as an option on the product pages, so you can see the total cost without the headache of accessing a bunch of pages and calculators. We do this as a service to show you we value your business. Yes, we still make a profit. We want you coming back and telling your friends and colleagues to visit us. Call us for rush orders so we may reduce any delay in getting your order processed and started.
